Roughing it in Walsenburg

Here's where I stayed last night, The Plaza Inn. I'm not waiting for breakfast, because it looks like I'll be handling 60 miles of 20 mph  headwinds, and from the roaring out the window, they're already awake.

from the road.

  1. Interesting town: i pulled this tidbit from wiki:

Robert Ford, the assassin of outlaw Jesse James, operated a combination saloon and gambling house in Walsenburg; his home at 320 West 7th Street still stands.
