Long Overdue Update
A few months back, I took a whirlwind tour of the Texas Hill Country on my Vaya. We started in Comfort, TX, rounded out through Kerrville (never been, NICE little town) Fredericksburg, Llano, Hamilton, Glen Rose and home.
With the Delorme map showing through-roads that weren't - and subsequent re-routes, it worked out to about 361 miles in 2 1/2 days. Here's a pic dump for those of you playing along at home...
Historic buildings, or more specifically, the water faucets of historic buildings, as well as churches and cemeteries are very important on tours in Texas. Here we have a VERY welcome water stop, mid afternoon on a 135 mile riding day. Shade is a big plus.
Almost home.
